Shri Jamnagar VISA Shrimali Soni Samaj's Wadi / Area measuring approximately 16,262.4 Sq.Ft (Sixteen Thousand, Sixty Two Feet, Four Inch Sq.Ft) in Jamnagar Const. Dedicated to the society in 1956 (AD 1900) hence this place is known as “Kasaribagh”.
The land allotted for the use of the castes is outside the Kot area. Within the Kot area, the population of our society at that time was approximately 200 to 250. And due to limited means of transportation, this place was not used by the local community except for caste group meals, and due to the importance of celebrating events at home at that time, this place remained unused. Hindustan became independent in AD. In the year 1947, the people of Hindu community living in Sindh, Pakistan, came to India as refugees. Refugee brothers also came to Jamnagar city, so they were instructed to settle in this place by Satadhis to give them immediate shelter. After about 10 years (1957) this place was acquired vacant after which Satadhis sometimes used this place for military/police landing. To maintain such a large property of the society and create a source of income, the then Patel Govt. This place was opened by Mr. Chelabhai Trikamji Gusani and his fellow workers. From 22-5-1957 monthly Rs. 250/- for the use of woolen kandori – given to the Walker Anjaria family.
As the population gradually increased and the community needed space, efforts were made by the caste leaders to vacate the premises from other tenants. Brahalin Mahant P.P. of Sri Anadabava Seva Sanstha Jamnagar to accomplish this great work. With the persuasion of Gurudev Shri Shantiprasadji Maharajshri, the Anjaria family promised to hand over this place back to our society and thus dated Possession of premises on 12-6-1979 by P.P. With the blessings of Brahalin Mahantshri Shantiprasadji, P.P. Received in the presence of Mahantshri Devprasadji Maharajshri. At the time of possession, there were four other tenants from whom the entire wadi land was given to the society after the persuasion of the close caste workers gradually occupied those places as well.
After getting vacant land of wadi, this place with drain pipe in the ground floor was done with general repairing/white wash etc. and for the use of castes. Inaugurated on 19-2-1981, the construction of this place was carried out in nine phases with the generous cooperation of the local caste people and conscientious efforts of the workers as detailed below.

At present, this wadi is used by about 1,000 families (total population about 6,000) of our Jamnagar society. Among the Soni Samaj wadis in all India, this is the number one luxury wadi in Jamnagar. Also other castes of the city are seen using the wadi by the institutions and freely praising the wadi space.
